Waver enables users to send and receive text messages from nearby devices using sound waves.

This application is designed for efficient communication with multiple nearby devices simultaneously. It offers both audible and ultrasound communication protocols, ensuring data transmission without the need for internet connection. All information is securely transmitted solely through sound waves. To receive incoming messages, users are only required to grant microphone access to capture sounds in the vicinity.

How to utilize Waver:
<ul>
	<li>Before commencing, ensure your device's speaker is activated and disconnect any headphones. The application relies on the device's speaker to emit sounds for sending messages.</li>
	<li>To send a message, access the "Messages" tab, type your message at the bottom of the screen, and select "Send".</li>
	<li>Any nearby device running Waver can intercept the emitted sound and display the received message.</li>
	<li>In the settings section, users can adjust the volume and transmission protocol for sending messages. It's crucial to set the volume sufficiently high for sound detection by other devices.</li>
	<li>Click on "Spectrum" to view a real-time frequency spectrum of the audio captured by your device's microphone.</li>

Local network file sharing:

Starting from version 1.3.0, Waver supports file sharing through the following process:
<ul>
	<li>Add files for transmission by sharing them within Waver.</li>
	<li>In the "Files" section, choose "Broadcast". This action triggers an audio message containing a file broadcast offer.</li>
	<li>Devices within the same local network can acknowledge this offer and establish a TCP/IP connection with your device.</li>
	<li>The actual file transfer occurs over TCP/IP connections, with sound messages solely initiating these network connections between devices.</li>
	<li>Waver facilitates simultaneous file sharing with multiple files across multiple devices.</li>
</ul>
